Hello again fellow chocolate lovers and cacao connoisseurs!

It is yet another beautiful day here in Saxony as we at Choco Del Sol sit and reflect on an excellent month of October (what a beautiful fall season we’ve had!!!!).

October saw our team working hard to settle into a routine at the new location in Schloss Rochsburg. We are very grateful to the wonderful people who work (and live) at Schloss Rochsburg and who have made us feel incredibly welcome and lucky to be blessed with such a great new home.

The process of settling in is now more or less complete, although we will be fine-tuning our decorations and general ambiance for months to come as we develop a greater sense of the space. Most importantly, we have developed and settled into our new chocolate-making flow and our latest chocolates are imbued with Schloss Rochsburg magic!

Our first Schokursionen events were a great success (according to many of the participants who let us know the new space has a great, fun atmosphere) and we are excited to be holding these events now weekly. For those who are not aware, these are events that include animated discussions about chocolate and cacao, the joy of making and eating your own chocolate, delicious catered food and drink and occasional special guests who offer workshops on other topics. They are a perfect way to enjoy a warm evening surrounded by happy people, delicious treats and the sharing of knowledge and wisdom.

Please check our calendar and/or contact us regarding available space in upcoming events here.

Perhaps most exciting for us was the hosting of our official ‘Grand Opening’ on October 31st. Guests were invited to experience free chocolate, cacao tours by Patrick and Schloss Rochsburg tours by Lutz. It was a busy day, extending late into the night with great people, food and chocolate-inspired revelry. We are so grateful to all of you who visited us and hope you had a great time.
